About MVP Flag Football
Friends, family and football. A nonprofit youth sports organization bringing recreational flag football to Southern California families since 2019.
A League Built for Families
MVP Flag Football runs recreational youth 6v6 non-contact flag football leagues for boys and girls across Southern California. The organization was founded in 2019 with a simple goal: give kids a place to play, learn, and grow around the game of football in a family-oriented environment.
MVP operates as a nonprofit youth sports organization through Pacific West Foundation and identifies itself as a registered 501(c)(3). Leagues run in Spring and Fall seasons with Friday-night games, volunteer head coaches, and an emphasis on participation, fun, and football fundamentals.
The culture comes down to three words: friends, family and football. Every league is built around sportsmanship, teamwork, and character development on and off the field.

How MVP Leagues Work
MVP runs local leagues in individual Southern California communities. Each league can offer different seasons, divisions, and schedules, so the details depend on where you play.
6v6 Non-Contact Format
Boys and girls play in a 6v6 non-contact flag football format focused on participation, fun, and football fundamentals. Tackle football is not offered.
Volunteer Coaches
Teams are led by volunteer head coaches. MVP states that coaches and board members undergo background checks, and friend and coach requests are accepted when possible.
Spring and Fall Seasons
Leagues generally play in Spring and Fall with Friday-night games and about one practice per week during the season. Playoffs and championships are part of the experience.
Leadership
MVP Flag Football is led by a dedicated group of volunteers and board members committed to youth sports in Southern California.
Byron Webber
President
Additional organization-wide leadership will be listed as names and roles are confirmed. Local commissioners appear only on the league pages they manage.
